The Latest Member of Our Software Family: The GLABs Truck Call Mobile Application

After the test period, the latest member of the GLABs software family, the GLABs Truck Call application, became publicly available. It simplifies the monitoring of loading processes for drivers.

The application currently supports 10 languages and includes 4 key features for drivers:

• Viewing loading information,
• Tracking the loading status,
• Receiving and confirming notifications for ramp calls,
• And receiving and confirming notifications for document receipt.

After checking in at the site, drivers can access information related to loading in the app and follow the status of loading and document processing in real time.

A highlighted feature of the application is the ramp call. During the call for loading, the app prominently indicates the start of loading and its precise location to the driver. Through the app, the driver can easily confirm to the warehouse that they have started towards the loading area, but they can also indicate if some obstacle prevents them from beginning the loading process.

At the end of loading, the document handler also has the option to call the driver for document receipt through the application, if they are not nearby.

Our GLABs Truck Call application is available for both Apple and Android phones and can be used uniformly at any site where the GLABs TSM and GLABs YARD solutions operate. In cases where the driver uses a smartwatch, call notifications also appear on it.

Just like the other solutions in our software family, the Truck Call application is continuously being developed. In the future, it will be expanded with a mobile check-in feature and a function for navigating to ramps within the site.
